Meet in layby opposite 120 Turbary Park Avenue - Richards Monday meanders walk start at 10am, and cost £2 per adult.

 

13th Sep Strouden Woods

Meet in Castle Lane retail park, by Homebase - Richards Monday meanders walk start at 10am, and cost £2 per adult.

 

Tuesday 14th September at 7.30pm - Hengistbury Head

Moon Night

Come along and take a look at the Moon through a telescope. We will also be looking out for satellites, as well as spotting planets and constellations. Suitable for all the family.

Meet by the Hiker Café at Hengistbury Head. Cost £3 for adults and £1 for under 16s. Phone Richard Hesketh on 01202 437801 (01202 451673 after 5th JULY) for further information.

Stour Valley Festival @ the festival field behind Cherry Tree Nursery

The ever popular event is back again, with stalls, live bands and displays.  We are looking for volunteers to help at this event, putting up the tents, running stalls, litter picking and helping at the end packing away.


 

20th Sep Boscombe Gardens and Seafront

27th Sep Stour Valley - Meadows Walk

* Please note that for conservation tasks all volunteers must have completed a Countryside Volunteer Application form.  Volunteers must be 18 or over.  If parents wish to bring children they may do but THEY REMAIN THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN. Tasks may have to be cancelled in bad weather or unforeseen circumstances, please phone the Rangers Office on(01202) 535140 to check the task is going ahead before you set out.  We will provide a risk assessment and Codes of Practice, which you must read and abide by before starting a task.  We recommend you ensure your Tetanus injections are up to date. You may also wish to consider Hepatitis B Vaccination.
